As soon as she brought in her harvest, Baba Estie dusted off her Bone Harp and started practicing. Her chickens sing along.

HARVEST
Folks are gathering and playing music and eating and telling stories and quenching their thirst. Some have brought a fiddle or drum or Bone Harp or gourd thingie or accordion and some have brought bread and cheese or cider and I can't imagine what they get up to and how much the neighbors will complain or how achey their heads will be tomorrow but the harvest is in! The fire is being lit! The dark days are coming! Time to do a funny dance and celebrate the Dark dark with it's beautiful skinny shivery bits of light poking through!
Baba Estie
Baba Estie is a 9 1/2" tall doll. She hangs from a small wire in her back and clutches a bone harp, made from raccoon bones. Her skirts are made from hand dyed linen and the rest of her wardrobe comes from little scraps of this and that. She arrives safely, tucked into a handstitched pouch.
