Bodra doesn’t know the meaning of the word ‘quiet’.

HARVEST

Folks are gathering and playing music and eating and telling stories and quenching their thirst. Some have brought a fiddle or drum or Bone Harp or gourd thingie or accordion and some have brought bread and cheese or cider and I can't imagine what they get up to and how much the neighbors will complain or how achey their heads will be tomorrow but the harvest is in! The fire is being lit! The dark days are coming! Time to do a funny dance and celebrate the Dark dark with it's beautiful skinny shivery bits of light poking through!

  • Bodra is a 12" tall doll. She hangs from a small wire in her back and carries a snare drum made from a branch, which she hits with her two sticks made from raccoon ribs. Her arms, legs and head can all be gently moved. Her clothing is made from hand-dyed linen. She travels tucked safely inside a handstitched pouch.
