Focusing on the creations of doll maker Jana Christy, John Seven strives to create photographic portraits that capture the inner emotional life of Christy’s dolls even as they reveal the physical structures of what lurks directly beneath their skin.
The portraits add an extra dimension for anyone fortunate enough to interact with the dolls in person and offer an intimate connection to the dolls for those who have not had that opportunity.
These unframed Giclee prints are archival quality on 11x14 Kodak Metallic paper. They arrive safely in a crush-proof mailing tube.
John Seven is a Massachusetts-based photographer, author, and journalist. His books include A Rule Is To Break: A Child’s Guide To Anarchy, Happy Punks 1-2-3, and The Time Tripping Faradays series.
