Death looks over it’s shoulder, decay is just about to begin, we catch these spirits at the moment in between.

Inspired by the breathtaking wax and wood anatomical figures of the past, Jana Seven carefully hand-sculpted this unique piece of art with wood, fabric and natural fibers. The insides of Annalise, Anatomica are carefully stitched from linen and her large intestine is handily stored in a small drawer. The door she has opened, displays a ribcage carefully cut from pages of an antique medical dictionary.  She is 21 inches high and 7 inches wide.
