The Surprise of Death

Perhaps a surprise, unexpected Death is the favored Death. This Jack-in-the-Box represents the Surprise Death. Little Jack was certainly not expecting Death to look at him in the mirror, but alas. Jack/Death are tucked away inside their box made of antique wood.  They are made from an old bedspring, wood, clay and fabric. When open this piece is 15 inches high.
